About Me
Dr. Cara Weiner is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, a licensed clinical psychologist, and the Director of the Partial Hospitalization Program at Mount Sinai Harlem Health Center. Dr. Weiner specializes in the assessment and treatment of adults with depression, anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Binge Eating Disorder. She has extensive training and expertise in providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to people with emotion dysregulation, anxiety, depression, suicidal and non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors, suicidal ideation, and personality disorders. Dr. Weiner earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. She completed her predoctoral internship at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and her postdoctoral fellowship at MindWell NYC.
