About Me
Dr. Carlos Salama received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, did his Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and completed his ID Fellowship at Montefiore / Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Following his fellowship, he worked in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Elmhurst. Throighout his tenure, he has served as clinician, clinical researcher, and held several leadership positions, including HIV Clinic Director (2006-2017) and ID Clinic Director (current), and has been teacher / mentor in the Mount Sinai Infectios Diseases fellowship program.
