About Me
Bryant Williams is an assistant clinical professor at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in the Department of Family Medicine. The Department is housed in The Institute for Family Health. He is also a clinical supervisor at Teachers College in the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology. Bryant received his doctorate from Columbia University. His research focused on strategies for reducing clinician bias. He completed his clinical training at Columbia University Medical Center. Prior to moving to New York, Bryant lived in Boulder, Colorado where he studied Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy at Naropa University.
Bryant trains medical residents and students on the role psychosocial factors play in health and illness. His clinical interests include stress and anxiety reduction, life transitions, relationship satisfaction, professional development, promoting health behaviors and integrative medicine. In addition to teaching and consulting, Bryant maintains an active clinical practice in New York City.
