About Me
Dr. Carol Rodriguez is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner. Dr. Rodriguez has special interest in robotic and minimally invasive surgeries, menopause, obstetrics, family planning, medical education and reducing primary cesarean section rates. Dr. Rodriguez became a Menopause Society certified practitioner in 2023.
Previously, Dr. Rodriguez was the Medical Director of Women’s Health and a physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rochester Regional Health, and also served as a physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Anthony L. Jordan Health Center in Rochester, NY. Additionally, she held an adjunct clinical assistant professor appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA. Dr. Rodriguez received her medical degree from University of Illinois at Chicago. While earning her degree, she participated in the Patient Centered Medicine Scholars Program. Additionally, she was selected to perform research in the Department of Cancer Survivorship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University.
Dr. Rodriguez was recognized by her residency faculty for excellence in gynecology at graduation. She graduated from Florida International University with a major in Psychology. She has actively engaged in health equity leadership initiatives including Pursuing Equity: GME and Social Determinants of Health.
