Carolina L Murray, DO
Family Medicine, Primary Care
About Me
Dr. Carolina Murray joined Mount Sinai in 2014 as a family medicine physician. After completing her undergraduate studies at New York Institute of Technology, she graduated with her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her internship and residency in Family Medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she served as chief resident in her final year. With her board certification in family medicine, Dr. Murray enjoys working with a wide range of patients.
Before joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Murray worked as an attending physician at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where she provided primary care to patients ranging from newborn to geriatrics. Additionally, she can communicate with her patients in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Murray was inspired to be a Family Medicine physician when she was a young girl, which ultimately led her to live out her dream, today. When she is not in the office, Dr. Murray enjoys spending time with her family, visiting Disney World, and volunteering with the Girl Scouts. She also enjoys cooking and doing yoga.

Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments
The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.

Industry Relationships
Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology companies, and other outside entities to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their outside financial relationships.
Dr. MURRAY has not yet completed reporting of Industry relationships.
Mount Sinai’s faculty policies relating to faculty collaboration with industry are posted on our website. Patients may wish to ask their physician about the activities they perform for companies.
