About Me
Dr. Caroline Massarelli is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Newborn Medicine within the Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. As an attending neonatologist at both Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital and Mount Sinai West NICU, Dr. Massarelli is dedicated to the clinical care of newborn infants, with a particular interest in the use of non-invasive respiratory support for infants born preterm.
She received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her Pediatric residency and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Massarelli is passionate about medical education and simulation, focusing on enhancing the training of students and trainees. Her primary commitment is to providing exceptional care to newborns in the NICU.
