About Me
Catherine Spaulding, MD is an attending physician at Mount Sinai Urgent Care. Dr. Spaulding is double boarded in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She received her medical degree from Georgetown University, where she also completed her residency training. Enjoying her time in Washington DC she went on to complete an additional year as the Chief Resident of Pediatrics at Georgetown.
As a ‘New’ New Yorker - Catherine enjoys taking the opportunity to explore the city with her husband who also recently joined Mount Sinai as a Fellow in Palliative Care Medicine. In her free time she enjoys staying active by training for marathons and finding the best ski slopes in the winter. Catherine is a frequent contributor to the American Academy of Pediatrics Editorial Blog and is excited to join the Urgent Care team at Mount Sinai.

Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology companies, and other outside entities to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs.
