About Me
Celina Ang, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Ang specializes in the care of patients with gastrointestinal malignancies, including esophageal, gastric, pancreatic, liver, biliary, colorectal, anal and adrenal cancers. She works with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide quality, evidence-based and patient-centered care to individuals with these cancers. In addition to using standard chemotherapies, targeted therapies and immunotherapy, Dr. Ang also offers hepatic arterial infusion pump chemotherapy for the treatment of patients with liver metastases.
Dr. Ang has a strong interest in clinical and translational research and is principle investigator on multiple clinical trials evaluating novel therapeutic agents and approaches in gastrointestinal malignancies. She has been lead author or co-author of over 75 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. Since joining Mount Sinai in 2012, Dr. Ang has served as clinical preceptor and/or research mentor to more than 30 residents and fellows; she continues to train future generations of physicians and provide guidance on exemplary patient care.
