About Me
Dr. Xu is a board certified nephrologist at James J. Peters VA Medical Center (a Mount Sinai affiliate) in the Bronx. Dr. Xu performed her clinical Internal Medicine training at the North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center followed by Nephrology fellowship training at the University of Chicago. She did research studies on autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) at Harvard after she received a PhD in Biomedical Science in 2003 from University of Connecticut Health Center. Dr. Xu’s clinical and research interest is in ADPKD and acute kidney injury in patients with sepsis.
