About Me
Channelle S. Carr, MD, MHS (she/her) is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Adolescent Medicine and the Associate Program Director for the Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Carr graduated from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University with a B.S. in Biology and received her medical degree from the Howard University College of Medicine. She then completed her pediatrics residency at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. During fellowship, she also earned a master’s in health sciences from the Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Dr. Carr’s clinical focus is on the care of adolescents and young adults, with specific interest in sexual and reproductive health, contraception, and mental health.
