About Me
Dr. Charles Litchfield prioritizes each patient’s individual health and wellbeing in his sports medicine practice. Through careful diagnosis and a personalized approach, he partners with each patient to achieve their optimal return to activity whether its competing at an elite level of sport or managing a daily walk. Dr. Litchfield works closely with his orthopedic surgery colleagues to provide the optimal care for every patient with the fastest, yet safest, return to activity after an injury.
Dr. Litchfield completed his medical school training at St. George’s University School of Medicine and his residency training in family medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. His fellowship in Non-Operative Sports Medicine was also done at SUNY Downstate Medical Center where he managed the care and recovery of athletes of all ages and abilities. Additionally, he was responsible for multiple high school and college sports teams during his training. He has special interests in interventional and diagnostic ultrasound of musculoskeletal conditions as well as the diagnosis and management of sports-related concussion. Dr. Litchfield is dual board-certified in family medicine and non-operative sports medicine.

The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey.
