Charlyn Laserna, MD

About Me

Dr. Charlyn Laserna, MD has joined as a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Newborn Medicine in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai West. She received her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston McGovern Medical School. She recently completed her residency in Pediatrics this past June at The UT Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Laserna’s main clinical interest is Neonatology. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and hopes to further her previous research regarding language psychology by studying it in a clinical setting.
