About Me
Chelsea DeBolt, MD, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist and a maternal-fetal medicine specialist at The Mount Sinai Hospital and an Assistant Professor in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. DeBolt’s practice focuses on high-risk pregnancies, with special interest in prenatal diagnosis; invasive ultrasound, including chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis; and first trimester anatomy ultrasound.
Dr. DeBolt joined Mount Sinai after completing her maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where she also served as Administrative Chief Resident. During her residency, Dr. DeBolt was recognized with the Residency Program Award for Excellence in Obstetrics from the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Dr. DeBolt has contributed to peer reviewed articles on topics such as COVID-19 during pregnancy, fetal growth restriction, and severe neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome. She has presented her research at forums including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM), and the Society for Reproductive Investigation, where she was awarded the President’s Presenters Award in 2021.
Dr. DeBolt is a Fellow of ACOG and a member of SMFM, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
