About Me
Dr. Cheryl Dinglas has been in the OB/GYN field for over 10 years and in practice as a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist for over 8 years. After earning her medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Dinglas entered her OB/GYN residency at NYU Winthrop Hospital. She then remained at NYU Winthrop for her fellowship in Maternal & Fetal Medicine with Stony Brook University. As a double-board certified physician by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the American Board of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Dr. Dinglas specializes in gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, and preterm birth. Additionally, Dr. Dinglas is fluent in both English and Spanish, giving her the ability to communicate more freely with a diverse population of patients.
Since joining Mount Sinai South Nassau in 2019, Dr. Dinglas acts as the Director of Research for the OB/GYN department of the Hospital. She is a member of both The Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine and The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and serves as a GME Wellness Champion for the OB/GYN residency program. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Dinglas’ research has been peer reviewed and published in various journals within her field, including The American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology (AJOG), The Green Journal (Obstetrics & Gynecology), and The American Journal of Perinatology.
When she is not with her patients, Dr. Dinglas spends her time hiking, traveling, and enjoying good food with good people. She is always up for an adventure of trying a new restaurant or traveling to a new place!
