About Me
Chrisanna Dobrowolski, MD, MS, completed her medical degree at Dalhousie University in Canada, followed by residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Ottawa, where she received the Health Advocacy Award and served as Chief Medical Resident. She came to New York in 2018 as a fellow in the Division of Rheumatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she later completed a Masters of Science in Clinical Research. Dr. Dobrowolski came to Mount Sinai in 2021 as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology and performs clinical and teaching duties at both Mount Sinai Morningside and the Mount Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Dobrowolski has a special interest in systemic lupus, although also sees patients with a variety of systemic autoimmune diseases. Her research interests include health related quality of life outcomes, cognitive health, neuroinflammation and treatment of systemic lupus.
She is actively involved in the American College of Rheumatology and serves on the Classification Criteria Subcommittee.
Dr. Dobrowolski is the founder and Director of the Lupus Program at Mount Sinai.
