About Me
Christian Escobar, MD is an Internist at Mount Sinai with a focus on homebound and high-risk patients, as well as novel healthcare delivery models. Dr. Escobar received his undergraduate degree from Fordham University and his MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Since 2013, Dr. Escobar has been an attending physician at the Mount Sinai Visiting Doctors Program. He is currently an associate professor in both the Department of Medicine and the Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine. In addition to being a primary care doctor, Dr. Escobar has been involved in the initial development and implementation of the Community Paramedicine and Hospital at Home programs at Mount Sinai. He has authors several papers, book chapters and given talks at national conferences on home-based medicine.
