About Me
Dr. Mulholland completed a post-doctoral fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine and hold board certifications in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Recruited to the Mount Sinai Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine in 2018, she serves patients across six hospitals and four outpatient clinics within the health system. She delivers inpatient palliative care consultations at Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Morningside, alongside outpatient precepting in fellows' continuity clinics. She oversees the training of medical students, residents, and fellows rotating on the palliative care consult team. She has established a specialized focus on clinician well-being, holding appointments as Director of the Faculty Well-being Champions Program for the Icahn School of Medicine's Office of Well-being and Resilience, and Associate Director of Departmental Well-being for Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine. She previously was the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Well-being Champion for the geriatrics and palliative medicine fellowships. Her career goal is to advance clinician well-being and the field of palliative care through initiatives to enhance effective clinician-patient communication and clinicians’ sense of meaning in work.
