Dr. Christy Chon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai. She received her Bachelor's and medical degrees from the Sophie Davis Biomedical Education Program/CUNY School of Medicine. Dr. Chon is trained in Internal Medicine and graduated from the Internal Medicine residency program at Mount Sinai Morningside-West, where she stayed on as faculty to practice Primary Care. Dr. Chon is passionate about preventative medicine, understanding the role of social determinants of health in chronic illnesses, with a particular interest in obesity medicine and weight loss management.
