About Me
Chung-Ying (Owen) Tsai is a licensed physical therapist in New York State and Taiwan with three years of clinical experience and eight years of experience in conducting human subject testing. He has a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and PhD degree in Rehabilitation Science. Research interest focuses on the effects of applying proper assistive technology, such as exoskeletons, and the biomechanics in injury prevention and movement skills for people with disabilities. Dr. Tsai recently focus on training methods of exoskeletal-assisted walking and device improvements for increasing mobility and facilitating recovery after SCI. Dr. Tsai has been trained and certified on Ekso, ReWalk, Indego, and Keeogo.
