Dr. Hoffman is an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at Mount Sinai. She graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM) in 1985, completed a Family Practice and Dermatology Residency by 1990, and has been in practice for 20 years. Dr. Hoffman is a Board Certified Dermatologist and is in private practice in Yorktown Heights, Carmel, and Hyde Park, NY.
Dr. Hoffman is Past President of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, The New York State Osteopathic Medical Society, and The New York College of Osteopathic Medicine Alumni Association; currently she is the Dermatology Residency Director at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx and is Course Director of Dermatology Department at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Hoffman is also a member on the Board of the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology.
In the office, Dr. Hoffman specializes in diseases of the skin, hair and nails, in all age groups. These include all kinds of rashes including acne, rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis. She does full exams to examine moles and detect skin cancers. MOHS micrographic surgery is performed in the office for those who need removal of these cancers. Dr. Hoffman also specializes in cosmetic procedures and Laser treatments. These include Botox and fillers such as Juvederm, laser hair removal, leg veins and IPL photorejuvenation. She employs an aesthetician who performs peels and microdermabrasion.
