
About Me
Dr. Schretlen is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology at Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West. A native of Baltimore, MD, she received her medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine followed by a residency in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics at WVU, and Nephrology fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Schretlen's clinical interests include onconephrology, home dialysis modalities (including peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis), global health, and palliative care. Her interests outside of clinical medicine include teaching & medical education, travel, and any genre of dance.
Dr. Schretlen sees patients at the Mount Sinai Faculty Practice at 36 W. 60th St as well as several dialysis centers in Manhattan.

The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
