Dr. Colin Pesyna attended the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed an emergency medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, during which he won a system wide award for clinical teaching. He completed the anesthesiology critical care fellowship at New York Presbyterian, Columbia University Medical Center and entered practice in 2021. In addition to attending in the emergency department, he works in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit and on the hospital rapid response team. Dr. Pesyna's clinical interests include emergency airway management, mechanical circulatory support, and point of care transesophageal echocardiography. He enjoys teaching physiology and clinical reasoning to all levels of medical trainees.
