About Me
Dr. Constantine Yiachos has been practicing Gastroenterology for over 30 years and joined Mount Sinai in 2017. After earning his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine, Dr. Yiachos completed both his residency and fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, respectively. As a double-board certified physician in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Yiachos' clinical interests include irritable bowel syndrome, reflux disease, liver diseases, and screening for esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, and colon cancer. Additionally, Dr. Yiachos is bilingual and can communicate with patients in both English and Greek.
In his professional community, Dr. Yiachos is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Gastroenterology Association, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology.
When practicing medicine, Dr. Yiachos finds the best diagnostic test to be listening closely to each patient. Outside of the office, his passion is photography and he loves to travel.
