About Me
Courtney Juliano, MD, is Associate Professor, System Chief in the Division of Newborn Medicine, and Vice Chair of Clinical Innovation in the Jack and Lucy Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine and Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. Her focus on improving long-term outcomes of preterm infants includes a specific interest in the use of non-invasive respiratory support in the neonatal population and improving NICU team performance through a multidisciplinary approach. As Medical Director of the NICU at the Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital, she is dedicated to improving outcomes for newborns with complex conditions.

During her fellowship, Dr. Juliano’s research focused on the role that intermittent episodes of hypoxia play in the development of white matter injury in preterm infants.
