About Me
Dr. Dana Zalkin is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Henry D. Janowitz Division of Gastroenterology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She obtained her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. She remained at NYU for her internal medicine residency where she served as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Zalkin completed her fellowship training in Gastroenterology at Montefiore Medical Center during which time she also served as Chief Gastroenterology Fellow.
Dr. Zalkin provides clinical care for patients with a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal disorders. She has a particular clinical focus on patients and families with hereditary colon cancer syndromes. Dr. Zalkin believes strongly in patient-centered care and works with a multidisciplinary team at Mount Sinai to provide this to each and every patient.
