About Me
Dr. Han received his Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude from Cornell University. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai with Distinction in Research. Dr. Han completed his residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Vascular Surgery, during which he was the recipient of several awards from the New York Society for Vascular Surgery, Eastern Vascular Society, and Society for Vascular Surgery for his research and case presentations. Dr. Han was also awarded the Michael Silane, M.D. Traveling Scholarship, which allowed him to work with the newest, cutting-edge endovascular technologies not yet available in the United States. Dr. Han’s research interests include the use of innovative endovascular technologies to provide optimized treatment for arterial aneurysms and dissections throughout the body, cerebrovascular disease, vasculopathies, limb-threatening arterial insufficiency, venous disease, and dialysis access creation and mainte¬nance. His work has been published extensively in peer-reviewed publications and presented at confer¬ences across the country. He is the author of several book chapters and educational training modules. Additionally, Dr. Han has a strong interest in the surgical education of medical students and residents and was appointed as the Co-Director for the Surgery Clerkship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Han's clinical interests span all areas of vascular medicine and surgery. He is skilled in both open and endovascular surgical techniques, which are combined to provide the best individualized treatment options to address each unique patient.
