About Me
Daniel Slack, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Bone Disease. Dr. Slack joined the faculty after completing his residency training in Internal Medicine, where he also served as chief resident, and his fellowship training in Endocrinology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. His clinical interests include gender-affirming care and reproductive health, thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary, adrenal, metabolic bone disease, obesity, and diabetes. He has conducted research related to the safe and effective provisioning of gender-affirming hormone therapy and has published his work in peer-reviewed journals and presented at multiple international conferences. Dr. Slack is also dedicated to improving efficiency, patient safety, and clinical outcomes, currently serving as the Quality Improvement Lead for the Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery (CTMS).

Dr. Slack is very knowledgeable, concerned and understanding of my condition. His explanations are clear and thorough.
[...] but I don't think I the words to express the absolutely wonderful way Dr. Slack took care of me. I even got emotional when I thanked him for treating me like a human and just not another number like most Doctors do. I could see the genuine concern and care on his face and eyes for me. He didn't speak to me as a patient I felt like he was talking to me like I was part of his own family. I have never felt so appreciated like this before. He's a good human before Doctor, I can tell you that much. Please do not let this man go.
