About Me
Dr. Daniel Laskey is a Thoracic Surgeon and an Assistant Professor of Thoracic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital
Dr. Laskey completed his fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, he attended Tufts University for undergraduate education, after which he obtained his medical degree from St. George’s University, School of Medicine. He went on to complete General Surgery residency at New York Presbyterian - Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Laskey specializes in thoracic oncology and lung transplantation for advanced pulmonary disease. He has a focus in minimally invasive surgery, including robotic- and video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS), for both benign and malignant diseases of the lung, foregut, esophagus, and mediastinum, as well as chest wall reconstruction.
