About Me

Dr. Daniela Jodorkovsky is the director of the Mount Sinai Center for Gastrointestinal Physiology and Motility. After graduating Harvard University with a bachelor of arts in Cognitive Neuroscience, she received her M.D. from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in internal medicine. At Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, she received specialized training in esophageal and motility disorders during GI fellowship. Dr. Jodorkovsky's clinical expertise is in the area of esophagology and foregut motility disorders (swallowing disorders, achalasia, gastroesophageal reflux disease, esophageal spasm, eosinophilic esophagitis, functional dyspepsia, and gastroparesis). She is passionate about combining the art of medicine and the doctor-patient relationship with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technology in the motility-physiology lab and endoscopy suite
