Darrius Chambers, MD
About Me
Dr. Darrius Chambers (he/him) is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a licensed psychiatrist in New York State. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and earned his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL. Dr.Chambers then completed his adult psychiatry residency training at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He currently sees patients for both medication management and psychotherapy at the Student and Trainee Mental Health Program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He has a particular interest in psychodynamic psychotherapy, and his clinical work is guided by compassion and curiosity.
