About Me
David H Godfried, MD, is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon in the Mount Sinai Children’s Services Division of Pediatric Orthopedics and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatric Orthopedics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. Dr Godfried’s clinical expertise spans the gamut of pediatric musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
Upon receiving is medical degree from the Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons in the City of New York, he completed an internship and residency at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Godfried completed fellowships in pediatric orthopedics and scoliosis at the Children’s Memorial Hospital and the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Chicago. He served as Director and/or Chief of Pediatric Orthopedics at Texas Tech University, Northwell Health System, and the NYU Orthopedic Hospital before joining the Mount Sinai faculty.
Dr. Godfried is available for referral and consultation at the Mount Sinai Doctors office in Hewlett and participates in pediatric orthopedic care of children seen at Mount Sinai Hospitals in Manhattan, Queens, and Oceanside.
