About Me
David Eshak, MD is Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Eshak serves as Associate Program Director - Veterans' Affairs for the Mount Sinai Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program. He serves as Site Director for Internal Medicine Education at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Eshak is triple board-certified in internal medicine, critical care medicine, and pulmonary medicine. Dr. Eshak's clinical practice is focused in intensive care units, in addition to performing advanced critical care and pulmonary procedures (including bronchoscopy for lung cancer diagnosis). Academic and Research interests include: training resident physicians in point-of-care ultrasound, and simulation training to prepare resident physicians for patient care emergencies.
