David S. Orentreich, M.D. is an Assistant Clinical Professor, Voluntary Attending for the Department of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Partner in the Orentreich Medical Group, LLP.- http://orentreich.com/. He is also a guiding dermatologist for Clinique (1987-present) and the son of Dr. Norman Orentreich, the first President of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
As the Director of the Orentreich Foundation for the Advancement of Science, Inc., Dr. Orentreich is deeply involved in research involving dietary sulfur amino acid restriction as a means to maintain health and extend lifespan - https://www.orentreich.org/.
Dr. Orentreich's specialties include innovative cosmetic procedures that utilize injectible fillers, neurotoxins and lasers. Among his other specialties is hair restoration surgery, liposuction, scar revision, and anti-aging therapies. He has prolifically authoured and co-authored articles in numerous medical journals and chapters in medical textbooks. He has also lectured and been interviewed both nationally and internationally, and developed and innovated numerous therapeutic procedures and maintenance treatments.
