David Ullmann, PsyD

About Me
Dr. Ullmann has over a decade of experience and works to provides a safe space where you can increase self-understanding and identify barriers to your goals. His specialization is with anxiety, depression, relationships and existential issues. His approach is based in mindfulness including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and psychoanalytic approaches, always grounded in the client's needs and goals for treatment. He incorporates exercises, irreverence, and humor as indicated.
Dr. Ulmann received his B.A from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and his M.A. and Psy.D in clinical psychology at Yeshiva University in New York. He has a wealth of experience at every level of psychological care and has worked as a supervising psychologist at multiple hospital systems, supervising psychologists-in-training, junior level psychologists, and other mental health providers. Currently he trains doctoral level psychology students and postdoctoral fellows at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Ullmann is open to new clients in his private practice.
