
David Lin, MD
About Me
David Lin, MD is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hospital Medicine at ISMMS-Mount Sinai Hospital. He received his medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and subsequently completed his internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. After residency, he cared for patients as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU Langone Health. In recognition of his efforts, he was nominated for the Exceptionalism in Hospital Medicine Award which celebrates the hospitalist who most embodies professionalism, integrity, and humanism. Dr. Lin has also had the privilege of working with medical students and resident physicians. At NYU Langone, he was recognized as an Outstanding Clerkship Educator, which denotes faculty who have gone above and beyond in furthering students’ clinical education and training and/or served as role models for professional commitment, identity, and excellence. In addition to his clinical duties, he has a vested interest in quality improvement, particularly at the intersection of health technology and clinical care. He has been selected to present his work at various educational conferences at both an institutional and national level.
Dr. Lin is honored to return home and be a part of the Mount Sinai family again. His clinical responsibilities include continuing to provide high-value, safe, and patient-centered care on both the attending-directed and resident teaching services.
