About Me

Dr. Deba Banerji has practiced Internal Medicine for almost 30 years in the US and joined Mount Sinai as an Internist in 2017. After graduating with his medical degree from Nil Ratan Sarkar Medical College in India, Dr. Banerji completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center. With his certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Banerji practices general medicine and treats patients for a wide range of ailments. Additionally, Dr. Banerji is multilingual and can communicate with patients in English, Bengali, and conversational Hindi.

In his professional community, Dr. Banerji is a member of the American College of Physicians. Outside of his time with patients, he enjoys studying arts & culture, spending time outdoors, playing some sports, and relaxing.
