About Me
Deborah (Ronnie) Horowitz, MD is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and an attending physician on the stroke service at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Horowitz has over 20 years experience caring for patients with stroke and all types of cerebrovascular disease. She also performs and interprets carotid and transcranial Dopplers as a member of the Mount Sinai Neurovascular Laboratory which is certified by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) for non-invasive extracranial and intracranial vascular testing (ICV).
Dr Horowitz's interests include non-invasive imaging of the blood vessels involved in stroke, the causes of stroke, as well as stroke treatment and stroke prevention.
