About Me
Debra Ann Kirschner-Lanzkowsky, MD, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist and hospitalist at The Mount Sinai Hospital and an Assistant Professor in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Kirschner-Lanzkowsky focuses on general obstetrics and gynecology, with special interest in family planning and accessible health care.
Dr. Kirschner-Lanzkowsky joined Mount Sinai from the Rockland County Department of Health, Family Planning Clinic, where she was a family planning provider since 2013. Previously, she served as a general obstetrician-gynecologist with Community Medical and Dental Care in Monsey, New York for ten years. Prior to that, Dr. Kirschner-Lanzkowsky was Director of Women’s Health at Refuah Health Center in Spring Valley, New York. While there, Dr Kirschner-Lanzkowsky received an award from the American Cancer Society for her work on cervical cancer screening and colposcopy for the underserved.
Dr. Kirschner-Lanzkowsky earned her medical degree from Yeshiva University/Albert Einstein College of Medicine and went on to complete her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Kirschner-Lanzkowsky is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
