About Me
Deepa Manjunath, MD is a board-certified Internal Medicine specialist and primary care physician at Mount Sinai. She received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She then completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA, where she also served as a Chief Medical Resident and cared for patients in hospital, clinic, and home care settings. As a general internist, Dr. Manjunath believes that high-quality primary care is the foundation of our healthcare system and has the power to positively impact patients’ lives. She values a patient-centered approach to care and strives to partner with her patients to achieve their health goals. She is the daughter of South Asian immigrants and welcomes patients of diverse ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds, as well as patients of all gender identities and sexual orientations. She evaluates and treats a wide range of medical conditions including high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity, anxiety, depression, women’s health concerns, and preventive care.
