About Me
Dr. Deepak Atri is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Atri attended medical school at Yale, where he was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute research fellow. He then completed the Osler Medical Residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital before going on to The Brigham & Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School for training in Cardiovascular Disease. He further completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Molecular Genetics at The Brigham and The Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard. He developed an expertise in the genetic basis for coronary artery disease and aortic aneurysm, as well as editing of the genome with CRISPR.
Dr. Atri attends on the general cardiology service at The Mount Sinai Hospital and sees patients in the Center for Inherited Cardiovascular Diseases at 1190 Fifth Avenue, 1st Floor, GPI SW.
