About Me
Dr. Deepti Thomas-Paulose is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai in New York City. Educated in New York, Dr. Paulose went to the Bronx High School of Science and received her Bachelor’s from Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at City University of New York. She received a scholarship to study abroad and spent two months in the KwaZulu-Natal district in South Africa studying the diagnosis of pneumonia in a HIV prevalent pediatric population. She obtained her medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and went on to complete her Emergency Medicine training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital. During that time, she worked clinically in Mexico, Kenya and Nicaragua.
