Denise Croote, PhD
About Me
Denise attended Brown University for her bachelor’s degree and is pursuing a PhD in the Schiller Laboratory of Affective Neuroscience at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is currently a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and her research is focused on using functional magnetic resonance imaging to investigate how the brain represents time. Outside of research, Denise co-leads Mentoring in Neuroscience Discovery at Sinai, an outreach group based out of the Friedman Brain Institute, and is particularly passionate about introducing neuroscience curriculum into NYC middle and high schools.
