
Denise Nassisi, MD
About Me
Denise Nassisi, MD, FACEP is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Nassisi received a B.S. in biochemistry from Binghamton University and received her M.D. from SUNY Stony Brook where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She trained at Jacobi Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital and is board-certified in both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine. She was granted Fellowship in Mount Sinai’s Institute for Medical Education, served on the Mount Sinai School of Medicine CME committee, and has contributed to the National Board of Medical Examiners United States Medical Licensing Exam. She has precepted many students and residents in the ED and developed evidence-based clinical guidelines. She has served for many years on the Mount Sinai IRB, served as reviewer for the Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program, and has successfully completed numerous industry-sponsored clinical trials.
