About Me
Dr. Devon C. Gordon-Lyles is a Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner dedicated to serving the diverse populations across New York City. Through her collaborative and compassionate approach to patient care, Dr. Gordon-Lyles focuses on the overall wellbeing and the individual needs of each patient she encounters. Because the Jack Martin Fund Clinic where she practices works to achieve health care goals for patients across the diaspora of the Harlem community, Dr. Gordon-Lyle's is an integral element to the promotion of the foundational goals of Mount Sinai and the Jack Martin Fund equally.
Dr. Gordon-Lyles uses a culturally competent, transcultural nursing approach to her care of adult, geriatric and LGBTQ patients she encounters. The focus of the primary care she offers to patients includes preventative medicine, risk-factor mitigation, and education that promotes a patient-centered optimal lifestyle. Services provided by Dr Gordon-Lyles include primary care services, annual exams, chronic disease management and coordination of specialty care including gender reassignment healthcare maintenance.
Dr. Devon completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice with Walden University while pursuing a post Master's certificate in Adult/Geriatric Primary Care. Her first Masters of Science in Nursing was completed from Drexel University where she attended an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her undergraduate studies were in biology and magazine journalism completed at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
