Diana Lee, MD

Dr. Diana S. Lee graduated with high honors from Princeton University with a BA in chemistry. She received her MD from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and completed her pediatric residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was a pediatric hospitalist at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore from 2011-2018, where she served in roles including: Director of the Inpatient Pediatric Physician Assistant Program, Leader of the Quality Improvement Committee on pediatric readmissions, and Faculty Co-Director of the pediatric residency global health elective.  She has participated in clinical work in Ethiopia and Mali.  Dr. Lee’s research focuses on childhood obesity in the inpatient setting and its effect on the outcomes and management of other conditions. She is also studying quality improvement efforts to reduce pediatric readmissions. Dr. Lee joins the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Program at Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital as a clinical hospitalist with a focus on medical informatics and global health.
