Diana Yan, MD is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine and an attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. Dr. Yan completed her medical degree at Case Western Reserve University and her pediatric residency and chief year at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, OH. After her time in Cleveland, she moved to Chicago and was a pediatric community hospitalist and then a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellow at the University of Chicago / Comer Children's Hospital. She completed her training in 2020, remaining on as faculty. She enjoys teaching all learners and using simulation as her educational tool. She is currently completing a Master's Degree in Medical Education online through the University of Cincinnati and is developing a virtual reality curriculum involving patients with autism spectrum disorder. She speaks English and Mandarin Chinese.
