About Me
Dr. Dina Nicole Anderson is a board certified dermatologist in private practice in New York City. She was also the Director of Cosmetic Dermatology at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY from 2001-2005. During her residency in the late 90s, she received multiple national and international awards for clinical research, including first place in the Residency Research Competition of Greater New York in 1997, and a grant to study Eastern Medicine in Beijing, China from the Women’s Dermatologic Society in 1998. In 2001, Allergan Pharmaceuticals elected Dina to travel to India to launch Botox Cosmetic. During this time, she instructed over 100 physicians on proper techniques in using this for facial enhancement. Her private office was also one of the first National Training Centers for Botox.
Dr. Anderson has since lectured both nationally and internationally on aging skin, acne, and facial rejuvenation techniques. She has published widely on these subjects in various dermatologic journals. Most recently, she has been selected as one of eight national masters in the education of other physicians learning the “liquid facelift” technique using Sculptra. She currently trains over 50 board certified dermatologists annually on this procedure. Dina is also on the editorial board of Skin and Aging and Practical Dermatology and writes a monthly column for the latter journal.
Dr. Anderson is a member of various academic medical societies including American Academy of Dermatology, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology & Aesthetic Surgery. She graduated from Emory University with a double degree in Biology and Psychology and received her medical degree from Tulane University.
