About Me
Dr. Douglas Kurt MacDonald attended medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, graduating in 2013. Following graduation, he completed an Emergency Medicine residency at New York University/Bellevue Hospital in 2017. During residency, his main focus of interest was in Simulation and Medical Education. He joined the Emergency Medicine faculty at the Icahn School of Medicine in July 2017, where he currently holds the faculty title of Assistant Professor, and works clinically as an Attending of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Queens. Currently, he serves on the MSHS system wide Wellness Committee, as the Mount Sinai Queens Wellness Champion. While at Mount Sinai Queens, he has received recognition as "Outstanding Attending" in 2018 and 2019.
