About Me
Drorit Or, MD, is the Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Mount Sinai West in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Or’s practice focuses on general obstetrics and gynecology, with special interest in minimally invasive gynecology, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, and chronic pelvic pain.
Before joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Or served as an attending physician at Northwell Physician Partners in Long Island, New York. Dr. Or earned her medical degree from Technion Institute of Technology, Rappaport Faculty of Medicine in Haifa, Israel. She continued her training with a residency at Tel Hashomer Hospital in Ramat Gan, Israel. Dr. Or completed her residency training at Lenox Hill Hospital, where she served as chief resident. She went on to complete her Advanced Pelvic Surgery Fellowship at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, New York.
Dr. Or is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a member and certified physician of The Menopause Society.
Dr. Or is fluent in English and Hebrew.
