About Me

Dustin E. Monroe, MD, MBA  is an Instructor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital.  He graduated with a B.S. in Microbiology and Chemistry from California State University, Long Beach and received his medical degree from St. George's University. He also received an M.B.A. in Health Sector Management from the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.  Dr. Monroe completed his pediatric residency and fellowship in pediatric critical care at Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. After fellowship he was instrumental to create a multidisciplinary pediatric program to a large health system in Utah before proceeding to the North East to continue his academic and leadership pursuits. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care.
